For the main part, the traffic now runs in one direction with a cycle lane from the main beach towards Matagorda and the pavement has been widened.

If you go on to Google Maps and type in Puerto Del Carmen (obviously take the Spain option) you can select a satellite map - zoom in, there's a yellow/orange man above the 'zoom' - if you press and hold your cursor over 'the man' you can pick him up and drop him on Avenida de las Playas.
