GET 27 est né en 1796 à Revel, charmante bourgade de Haute-Garonne, dans l'une des plus grandes distilleries du 18ème siècle nommée la « Bonbonnière ». En 1860, Jean GET reprend la distillerie et hérite de la recette secrète de la fameuse liqueur à la menthe poivrée. Par la suite, il dessina la forme singulière de la bouteille s'inspirant d'une lampe à pétrole aperçue.
